This is better than anything I could think of. Leave a Man with his work of art and not let anyone else get there hands on it... I hope same thing would happen to my car.

 

its a crying shame. i think it fucking sucks. the car should have gone some where and never been touched. destroying a work of art is no way to honor a friend.

I think it's one of the stupidest ideas I have seen in a long time. Then again, some people think that car was just a "hobby" to somebody. Others think that was his heart and soul. Either way, why crush somebody's hobby? Why crush somebody's heart and soul? Wtf?

You obviously didn't know Tim. I'm almost positive this is exactly what he would have wanted. Why don't you re-watch the video and pay attention to peoples mannerisms as the car is being crushed instead of assuming they were having fun watching it get destroyed. Have you seen his previous car?

 

Just wanna touch on this for a minute...

Tim's dad is the guy in the picture in Mike's sig next to the car. As Tim's only relative, it was definitely his call from a financial standpoint what happened with the car. He was there with us when we crushed it, and he agreed that it was what Tim would have wanted.

The motor/trans was pulled out of it, but everything else was still in the car. Wheels, suspension, Recaro seat, even the snap on key in the ignition and Tim's CD's in the center console. The junkyard assured us that anything left on the car after the initial crush would be destroyed and not for sale, so don't go trying to find the pieces in the yard...

Now why Mike has the picture in his sig, I have no clue... Tim hated him about as much as he hated Marshall or David, but whatevs. I don't really give a shit.
