A pair of S15 seats popped up locally (VA) and I wanted to offer him something. What's a fair value for these things? Not the TR Skittles and pocket lint value but what you'd sell them for or what you'd buy them for.

ive seen them go for 500-600ish, but honestly i believe theyre basically the same as s14 seats and not really worth it. if youre going to spend that much, go gtr. or a recaro srd drivers seat or something.

 

That's ballpark with what he had them listed for. I know you're right, maybe I can trade him some old wheels I have laying around for them plus a spot of cash. Other than that, your suggestions are better.

 

$400-$450 They really aren't that comfortable. It's more of a jdm wow factor.

 

If they're lower, that's all I care about. Also, I can't stand my tweed crap anymore. If I'm wrong, please correct me on that first one. I don't want them sitting higher than what I already have.

This town is so filled with Honda people, my car blows minds and it's just slightly above Tampa average. Coilovers, stance, offset, Silvia fronts and 240's in general are like voodoo here. Nobody understands it but they all go apeshit when they see it in person. Sigh...it's like 2000 all over again.

s14 seats are slightly higher than s13 seats, so id venture that theyre at least as tall as s14's. gtr seats are out of the question too if you want lower, i cant even sit in chris's car with them. i really think your best bet will be a recaro drivers seat and make some super low mounts. srd/speed if you want a reclineable, they turn up on ebay used for cheap pretty often. or buy a pair of type r seats for 800, and sell the pass. seat to some honda fag.
