Default Scammed. (Paypal)

Just thought id share. Got scammed.

Basically buyer bought suspension off me. Claimed me and said it was not what he had purchased. Sent paypal pics with the item and his addy. Waited for 2 months and his credit card company sided with him and charged paypal $200, then paypal of course charged me $200.

So this bastard got.

Free suspension
Shipped at my expense $40
and I just had to resolve a $200 negative balance before my name went to collections.

WHAT A GREAT FUCKING DAY!

That sucks. Hear about shit like this happening all the time.

Did you have pictures for him to look at the suspension before he sent you the money? Did he send the suspension back? So you lost $200 to this idiot?

Zilvia.

Ya the same pictures I sent to paypal are the ones I sent to him.

Complete moron scumbag.

I lost my suspension (paypal cannot force him to send me it back)
$40 shipping
$200 I had to pay off

So $440 realistically. $240 cash.

actually what it sounds like is that he disputed the charge with the bank and had his bank reverse the charge, hence paypal forcing you to pay back what was taken from them. If he had done it the legit way going through paypal, paypal would have had him send it back and prove he had done so in order to get any kind of return which they like to drag their feet on anyhow. The sad part is there is nothing you can really do unless you take him to small claims which is no guarantee that youll see anything back anyway.

Was the charge paypal charged you off your credit card?

You should dispute it with them(CC) i know some people that have done this.

If it was a debit card you can go into the bank and in some situations convince them you didnt allow paypal to take anything out of your account and sometimes get the situation reversed.

Shitty situation. Right now i have some buyer that bought something off ebay from me back in October emailing me NOW saying they are going to file a claim because of something dumb. How easy people can do this is outstanding and retarded. I believe in my case though their window to do so is long gone.
