Most Work emotions in that price range are custom order.

Standard sizes are in the 300$ range. Same with some Volks and others, you just have to know where to look for them.

And CCW's are no where near being cheap. I dont know what other decent custom wheel you can get for not very much money.

Intros and boyds run around $300-400/wheel for 17" generally, when you say $300 range, do you mean low 300's or high, because high 300's is generally what I find for the emotions, when they should be low 300's, high 2's like the enkeis.

Speaking of, are circlar spec r's, or rather were they a bolt together rim ?
Pretty sure they've discontinued them, which is quite a shame cause they are/were nothing short of awesome.

Low high 200's to mid 300's depending on size.

I dont think 1300 - 1400$ for a set of works or volks is that bad. Hell I can get a set of 17x10 RPF1's shipped to my door for $1011

Are you talking about AME circ spec R's? They still make them. SPL is a distributor.

AME Circlar Spec-R wheels from Upgrade Motoring

The AME Circlar Spec R wheel has been discontinued. Limited Supply Still Available. Please Call.

Maybe its not true though.

$1300 for a set of works in 17x8/9 wouldnt be bad, but most of what i've found, though I havent looked too hard yet is more like $1500, and thats only $60 less than a set of custom intro's

Wait til I get home and dig up my 3-wheel'd WRX pic. Well, 3 wheels and 1 rotor.... It's actually an action shot. Happened during an Auto-x.

edit: not actually my car.

I dont see it as being that big of a deal, some people want different wheels and are willing to spend a few hundred extra.
