Hey guys, Greaser was nice enough to send my ass over here to hang in a better forum.

I was wondering if anyone here has a non-HICAS PS pump for an S13 SR. I need the bracket too. I've been driving with no PS for well over a year now.

By the way, I'd looovve to move down there to the sunshine state. My girlfriend is from So. FL and I *love* the smooth roads and long straightaways on I-75.

If you're slick enough, you can bolt a ka24de power steering pump onto the sr20det s13 btracket, however you lose your tensioning ability. however the lines will hook up so you get power steering.

Theres actuallky a belt that you can use for this specific application and it goes on with some persuasion

ka24de pump + s13 sr bracket + greddy pulley = K04 335 belt. This is a 4 rib 33.5" belt. It wil go on with some persuasion.

You must use a sr based power steering pulley for this modification to work. This is why we used the greddy pulley, it was the only one he had laying around. however, it went right on, and works like a charm!

Mattback, thanks for the good info. There is one problem though. I have the HICAS bracket and pump right now (not on the car). I actually have a DOHC PS pump lying around. And I can use the pulley from the HICAS pump. The problem is that I don't think the DOHC pump will bolt up to the HICAS bracket.

None of you FL guys have a pump and bracket lying around?

Scott, I already went there and called about the pump on their Web site. They didn't have it anymore and didn't have an ETA on any others.

I already tried Phase2, Enjuku, Heavy Throttle and Marco Vargas. It seems like nobody has them.

have you even tried to put the ka pump on the hicas bracket?

only difference i can see between the hicas and non hicas pumps is the additional ps high pressure port taht goes to.. the rear wheels, naturally.
