3rd gear is a bit high, and I doubt that we will find a place that will let us do drifting let alone high speed drifts around here. We might try the fairgrounds, but im sure the cost of it would be much higher than SPJC.

3rd gear drifts are cali and japan style. most people around here claim to be drifters but alot of them are just 1st maybe 2nd gear drifters doing stuffs in parking lots and then claim to be super awesome. high 3rd gear drifts at 50mph sideways are alot different than slinging a back end around in a wet lot.

I would love to help out if at all possible, and definitly count me in on the Drift portion of the meet.

Are you really going to rent out Bradenton motorsports park for private use or are you going to just go down there for the usual Saturday morning test and tune?

We have an event already taken care of for BMP.

As far as the drift thing. This will be one of the first thigns down here in the south east. lets just get a drift clinic and then competition taken are of in the evening. but you can definatly get some speed going in the area we have it planned.

you'd be surprised what kind of speed you can get.

true...I'd like to give a serious shot at doing some nice 3rd gear slides though, way too fast for my tastes in any practice spot I've found....maybe in orlando, but when you lose it your car is fucked in that area going so fast.
