Default Mileage on your SR20?

This question is aimed mostly at BumpinPSI and Enthalpy... How many miles did ya'll have on your motors and for how long at what power levels... I know enthalpy has had bearing problems at high HP, but at the different power levels you've had (~330 when i rode in it, 386 after, 409 and 455).

Its just killing me to decide what to do.... Ive narrowed it down to building an SR car or building an IT class race car for SCCA stuff... Either way i'm out 8-12 grand and I'll need ANOTHER car to drive around...

Mike

umm...bout 6k on the stock turbo.
6k at 330-360 hp level
1500 at 400 - blown HG caused bearing probs
650 (so far) at 440+

but rememeber these are used motors. not fresh. milage on the motor when you get it is probably going to be over 30,000

dude...50k is ALOT of miles for a car that is not your daily driver. seriously...that's like 6 years worth of driving!!

but i think you would have very little problems getting 50k out of a built motor running just under 400.

I dont know how many miles are on my motor

I think i prolly put...7,500 miles on it in 7 months...?

Yeah that sounds about right

All of it was highway too. Always putting down a constant (GUESS) 250 rwhp (enough for 13.07 @107)

well this car WOULD be my daily driver... thats the problem... AC as well... I also am determining by the SCCA Solo 1 rulebooks and local club racing rules if i really wanna go SR20 or just wait and eventually do a low power KA-T.... i am quite confused but just gimmie some time to make up my mind LOL
