yes it has one.

but you should disable / remove it before install of the motor, or plug the hose going to it.

 

SR20DET has an EGR valve ? I don't believe so. The S14 and S15 Sr20det I know for a fact does not have an egr valve.

However, there is an Air Injection valve option on the motors.

 

some one told me that the egr is part of a sensor and its bad cause you might get it to make the piston hit the spark plug cylinder 1 or 4 something to do with measuring the vibration. And something to do with not enough back pressure for the piston. I dont know cause i took mine out from my Ka and someone tried explaining it to me that its bad. I think the kid goes to Ptec in St pete or something like that.

 

That kid is wrong.

 

All sr20det that I've seen (BB, GTi-R, S13, motors), the4y do not have an EGR valve. Because they are either OBD 0 or OBD 1

 

being obd 0 or obd1 has nothing to do with whether the car has an egr valve or not.

my V6 nissan motor isobd 0 and does not have an egr valve on it.

the engine neverhad to pass usa emissions and was only a 2 liter, so it was exempt from needing an egr valve in japan.
