I found a LSD on I think a 91? 240sx. It had those 4 lug 7 spoke alloys on it, and I don't know how else to determine the year. The car has 161k miles on it. WIll this differential work in my 98 240sx? Is it worth pursuing on a car with so many miles?

If this diff will bolt into my car, give me the details so I can go nab it right away!

I doubt it's canadian, I was looking underneath for some crazy rear wheel steering stuff, but I didn't know what to look for. I notived cooling fins on the back of the diff, I'm not sure it's LSD, but it sure doesn't look like any of the other ones I have seen. I'm pretty sure it's LSD with the cooling fins.

 

stock diffs have cooling fins.

 

yea mine has cooling fins too and its not lsd(it acts like it in the grass but on the road its a one wheel wonder)

i might be wrong but i think that all ka24e cars have coolin fins ,but that dosn't mean that all are LSD!

i dont know any r200s besides open z31 / m30 style that do not have cooling fins on the back..
