Anyone have any clever ways to make a shield to keep oil and crap out of an alternator?

Got a 300zx with a stupid oil leak. Yeah yeah I know I know. Fix the oil leak. but it is a stupid cam seal and to get to it means doing a whole timing job, that I just don't wanna do.
But, the oil leak is killing my alternator. So. as a temp fix to buy me some time, I'm thinking some kind of shield. Seeing as how the exhaust manifold is inches away in an already hot engine bay, air flow is a concern since an over heating alternator isn't any fun.

So. Any clever ideas?

i actually ended up just using aluminum foil. folded it over a few times, covered up the important stuff. then ran a small duct to direct some air right to it and called it a day.
not my best work, but it should last for a little while.
we'll see.

 

I have a broken bolt in the front case on the vert's engine, it heads straight towards the alternator. I know how you feel lol.

if this car would just stop being a dick and nickle and diming me to death, I would have a whole new, over hauled engine for it and it would be happy, but instead, it wants to be a little bitch and break shit, eating up the budget.
