whos up for a challenge?
here it is.
i recently put in a new fuel system, it consisted of a JWT ecu, 72lb/hr injectors, cobra mass air, resistors, and a top feed fuel rail. as i was installing the new fuel injector harnesses, i grounded something because one of the fuel injector wires sparked. it was my fault because i thought i unhooked the battery, but u didnt. so here it is. everything is wired right. it was tripple checked and inspected to be right. but the car will not start, and the fuel pump will not turn on. i checked all fueses and even hooked a direct power source to the pump, and it turned on, but the car still did not start. my guess is that it is the igniter chip. because it will do the same thing with it plugged in and without. any help would be great. sorry for you having to read this.

yes i checked all the relays and there is no relay for the fuel pump and that is what is not coming on and that is where i am stumped. what are your comments about it possibly being the igniter chip.

All cars have a fuel pump relay. Whoever told you that does not know what they are talking about. The next step for you should be turn the CAS by hand to see if the injectors are opening/closing and if there is any spark coming from the coil packs. The fuel pump should also pump during this time as well. If the injectors open/close and you have spark, then your main issue is with the fuel pump not coming on.

i called up nissan and they are the ones that told me there is no relay. i am going to try putting in a different igniter chip. if that doesnt work than ill give you a call jay.

well my car is all better now. thanks to the help of jay whitely. he came to my house and everything. if anyone needs advice or help on nissans, give him a call. he knows his shit.

I have been saying that for a long time, jdm driven. Jay knows his shit and gets the job done right the first time, and does quality work. Jay does not have to advertise because his work speaks for himself. All I can say is Jay is the only one I will trust with my car when I go turbo later this year.
