KA with Vtak yo
Sup peeps. My dual cam is forkin up. About 2-4k it will fall flat on it's face, almost like the timing is retarded. After it picks back up again, its feels strong, and about 5200-5500 vtec kicks in. Not literally, but it's the best i can describe what it does. I know the car needs a knock sensor, but i figured i would check with everyone and see if they've heard of a knock sensor being the cause of something like this. I'm not ruling it out seeing as the knock sensor fuckin up can affect timing, but i figured I'd ask.
P.s. anyone with a knock sensor should sell it to this guy.

yeah, even without you saying anything about the knock sensor that's one of the first things I would have said.
other than that, i'd clean the MAF, check fuel pressure, test injectors, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor. the usual stuff. Typically, you get different symptons, but these things could cause that kind of feeling in the power curve. but most likely, it is the knock sensor.

I have checked the injectors, wires are good plugs are good. Havent checked the fuel pressures yet, but im almost certain its the knock sensor.
