ae86 with sr20det help
i have a sr20det in my ae86
mods:
acl rod bearing
acl crank bearings
arp rod bolts
arp head studs
new oem rings
garrett gt2871r (s14)
isis intake
megan downpipe
blitz bov
stock internals
cosworth hg 1.5mm thick
Now i need to know what my compression would be with this head gasket?
Block has never been decked.
Head never warped, just had it resurfaced because of new head gasket.
And what would be safe to boost? its at 12psi now...

not sure if the turbo really matters...
the way it is worded implies that everything was all set up and running before and the onlything that is different is the headgasket.
if that is correct, then the change in compression is minute.
but when it comes to how high you can crank the boost, pretty much regardless of setup, you are limited by your tune.
so going to a real tuner, getting a true accurate tune done will tell you exactly what boost levels you can run.
if you can a crap tune, you can damage things just with a conservative boost level.

You need larger injectors and a re-tune if you intend to run more than 10-12psi on a t28 unless you want to run lean and detonate or melt something.
