Turn Rotors???

Default Turn Rotors???

Does anyone know of a place in tampa that will turn my rotors???? lmk thanks. im guessing most machine shops will??? like national cylinder exchange.... so more insight would help, otherwise ill call them tomorrow. thanks guys

Pretty much any brake shop and decent mechanic should have a brake lathe. It's more likely that you'll end up replacing them though if they are somewhat old.

New stock rotors cost a little more than getting them turned.

It used to be worth it when you could get it done for like $5. When you get rotors turned, they are just more likely to warp again since theyre thinner in some spots.

I know a couple of places here in Largo area that charge roughly 35-45 to turn them, (I think it's per). You're better off getting new ones if the price runs that high anywhere.

And forget about turning drilled or slots...they wont and shouldnt.

Sears Auto Center will turn them as a carry in for 11 a piece as long as they are in spec.
