Hello, I am about to get my licence. My goal is to start drifiting but I really do not know much about what suspension upgrades would help out most with this.

Now a couple things for you to note in the new version of your post:
1) Proper spelling.
2) Proper grammar
3) No Ebonics
There are a few other issues I would like to address while we are revewing your interesting and refreshing post. Let's start with the title of your quality TR.com contribution.
suspension......dont want to flip
This should read
Suspension...don't want to flip
Again, we see improper grammar and punctuation in your original title line. Ellipses have only three periods (...) not six periods (......).
Now then as for the actual content of the title. Unless you actually hit something, sports cars do not flip over. You would have a very difficult time finding a tire that could generate enough lateral grip to make your vehicle traction roll. It's not the movie. Further more your title give no insight as to what your question really is. This would have been a much better title.
"Suspension modifications for drifting."
This would also enable anyone else who was looking for the same information to quickly locate this post using the "Search" function on TR.com.
Lastly we still have no idea what car you would like to start drifting in. Furthermore, I am puzzled as to why you felt it important to let us know you were going to do an engine swap in your vehicle. This post is about suspension. Now I assume you are going to get or already have a S-13 240sx so I will re-author your post one last time with all the proper information.

Any good shock and spring combo would be very beneficial. I like kg/cm springs and Koni's. Upgrading your swaybars to Whiteline or Suspension Techniques bars will also help alot.
