strange problem
in the end we got it working again, but check this out.
went to leave for work about 2 weeks ago and the silver bullet2 was giving me some grief starting, so after about 10 mins and 20 crankings, it came to life. ok, ??? weather change, whatever.
so then went to leave work that night and it took about 25 mins for the dam thing to start, not very happy.
then the next day, i get ready for work 15 mins early, assuming it will be a pain to get going, and it won't start at all. found the clutch lock out switch and taped over it. then the fuel pump stopped coming on.. oh schitt, that was a problem before. checked all the leads, good volts, changed the relay just to be sure and still no pump action...
so changed the pump.
wouldn't come on.
then i checked the voltage again, and found that if i loosened the 2 grounds, which were gorund at the same point, it would kick. so i moved 1 wire to a seperate point and the pump came on. about 3 seconds later, the car came to life again.
any ideas, why did it just decide that it didn't like its common ground after about 5 weeks of working just fine???
and thanx to craig for helping me with this pig.
