solder/heat shrink the brown wire back together... if it's cut, that's what 99% of people do..

Ya but the brown wire will still let it go all the way up and down it just keeps it from automatically going all the way up and down. I would say its something near the headlights motors, someone could have put a stop in or something of the sort.

yeah, that's why i said IF it's cut...

get out a multimeter and see if the motors are getting power, then trace back to the switch. process of elimination.

5% of Nissan Tech's population owns a multimeter, let alone knows what it is.

i work at a shop so i know what a multimeter is lol, a few days ago i looked at it again i reconected the brown wire doing to the switch still nothing i put the fuse back in and you have the put the headlights all the way down for them to even move again. and if you try to move them while the fuse is in it wont let you do it. im thinking its some thing to do with the multifunction switch because i know thats bad because when i turn on low beams most of the time one is on high and the other is on low.

and when you use the turn signal some times one headlight comes on,but it wont do that when the switch is in the high beam position. oh almost forgot i tryed switching around the relays and nothing i know theres like 4 relays just for the damn head lights. also the left motor gets real hot when the fuse is in like it just keeps wanting to go up. and the left headlight only gose up halfway and the right go's up all the way.
so the motors have a good ground and power so what the hell now lol.
