How do you figure it's just because I had 91-92 cams? It's on all K&N drop ins. It had the same effect on a friend of mines 99 Sentra SE-L with a SR20DE. After he dropped in the K&N he got shitty gas mileage and the car wasn't running to par. He then learned you have to reset the ECU. He disconnected the battery reset the ECU and after that the car ran great.
brock, i think mark was quoting taylor about his comment.
for ka24de
91-94 camshafts = intake 240 deg/exhaust 248deg
95-98 camshafts = 232 degree intake and exhaust cam i believe theyre the same duration on both.
buy 2 s13 DOHC cams, repin one, and use it as an intake cam.
also, keeping the 232 intake cam, but using the 248 exhaust cam yields better mid range, especially in turbocharged applications. both 248's will drop the power in the midrange a little but will open the top end just a bit, if you really need to rev past 5800-6000 when the power usually starts to drop.
oh and matt, riced front end? same as on my old camry. except the one pictured runs mid 14s n/a on an automatic...eat it hahaha
