Taking off the bumper seemed to help alot so it is air flow to test this more i switched my intercooler with a buddies ebay special and that one seems to flow more air to the radiator then mine kept the car below 200 at the top hose on the interstate. The car does feel like it has less power with his intercooler for some reason.

So without bumper my intercooler 170 on highway
Buddies intercooler with bumper 180-190 on highway
my intercooler with bumper 190-200 on highway
All readings from tophose car gauge always at half or lower

The OEM clutch fans move more air then most of the electric fans. Flex-a-lite and Permacool are the only two I trust.

Make sure it was properly bled.

Jack the front of the car up front tires off the ground 4-6 inches.
Take off radiator cap
Take a 2 liter pepsi bottle cut it in half and use some black electrical tape and wrap the bottle neck a little, or get a cooling funnel
Flip it around and place the bottle neck were the radiator cap was at. Pinch off over flow line if not using the funnel.
Now start filling it with coolant about half way
Remove bleeder screw
Close bleed screw after you get a nice even stream of coolant
Squeeze the upper, and lower lined and burp out the air
Add antifreeze until you over fill the rad by a quart
Turn the heat on full blast
Start the engine and let the engine run after 3-10 minutes the thermostat will open and suck in the excess antifreeze (ambient temp affects time)
Fill it again but with about a half of quart.
Let it run until no more bubbles come out. Squeeze hosed time to time.
Replace cap, unclamp overflow hose and then shut off the engine, fill over flow 1/2 to 3/4

Oh goodness, more of your stupidity, again ?

He can run lower end fans all he wants, he's not stating theres nothing out there better, and that "overheating or not" is some sort of measure of a systems ability to keep a car cool. Amongst other stupid ramblings from you.

in all seriousness though.
did your father never hug you as a child and that is why you have this elitist, know it all, asshat attitude?
It is one thing to think you know it all.
It is another to insist that your way is the one and only way.
but you take it to a whole other level.
I have never seen the level of devotion you have to attempting to drag someone else through the mud just to prove your point. You twist what I've said around. You alter my very intention. You rebuttal against points I wasn't even trying to make. You ignore the fact that I agree that your set up is superior, which I was under the impression was the point you were trying to make. You then continue to be personally insulting as if that was going to support the facts you were attempting to present.
You should run for an officer position at the westboro cult. Seriously man. You've got skills.

If this was the case, you'd have shut up long ago, and just said "ok, so the electric setup does the job, but im too cheap for it" instead you keep going on about clutchfans this and that, and running your mouth.

Repetitively trying to argue facts, and OEM ways of doing things, that often get discarded along the way, and then cause problems when someone actually goes back to having a functioning car, as hacks and cover up's.

A 12inch perma-cool pusher is flow tested at 3300cfm where most slim line puller fans only claim 1200cfm with no flow testing data. I actually use one on my LS swap and the improvement was noticable over slim fans. More noticable was the electric water-pump and oil-cooler used as a second heater core with it's own fan.

In s-chassis where clutch fans are too close to the engine (JZ, LS, RB) this or the taurus sho fans seem to work best. The SR isn't as air trapping as the KA, but if your overheating always pressure test, test cap followed by a proper bleeding.

Dont pay any attention to him, he's just a bit retarded, hates when he's proven wrong, and wont just shut up about it.

Though i'm sure those perma cool fans are a good bit overrated, pressure drop is an easy way for them to fudge numbers to look like they do more than they realistically can, 3300 cfm, out of a 12" pusher, is extremely unlikely, and i'm sure they've also got some super low claim to amperage draw to go with it.

However when comparing them to most cheap slim fans out there, this is no surprise that they did better. However going with something like OEM f-body fans, or spal, would work better, if what you've got fits decent, and gets the job done, the added benefits may outweigh the cost for you, though if you go adding a/c, might end up back in the need to upgrade boat.

I've had a fan eat a radiator before, that was pretty funny to find when opening the hood with the car overheating ... WTF !! My fan has taken a bite of the radiator, and didnt let go, zigzag ripped all the fins from between the tubes and they were wrapped around the fan.
