Default my clutch is GONE

ok going to a friends house on the courtney cambell i shifted into 4th and right when i let go of the clutch and gave it gas it was like the clutch pedal had no pressure on it, i couldnt get any gear and i dont know the clutch is gone, but what exactly do i need to fix i havent checked out the tranny yet, i had all the fluids i need, the spring on the actualy pedal is fine, and there wasnt any burning smell and nothing ovbiously blew up that i know of. help help help

does it spring back up??

ok it goes to the floor and it has alot of trouble coming back up, and theres not alot of pressure when i press on the clutch, almost like iam stepping on feathers, i cant get into any gear when i step on the clutch, the car turns on etc etc engine check is NOT on, the clutch is just like iam stepping on nothing and takes a little while to come back up.

sounds like the slave cylinder to me

Yup. more than likely it's the slave cylinder (on tranny) but don't overlook the master cylinder too, if it is, just buy a rebuild kit for 7-8 bucks.
