i recently purchased a longblock to replace my knocked motor in my s13. but i have some concern about the timing chain guides, they have some side to side shake, more than my old motors, so i was wondering if it would be ok to use them, or should i swap out the ones from my old motor?

 

If you have access to the parts now, I would use whatevers better. Not easy to change down the road ya know. None of my sr guides had no side to side play. Mabby it needs to be torqued down more.
