changing crank windows to power windows?
anyone done it in a 240? the 240 im getting is a base model, I dont really care about that but Id like to put the electric panel and motors in, just didnt know how much of a pain it is, if the rails are presetup for motors, etc.

hell just do th edriver sside power and leave the passenger side manual lol
or do it vice versa so u dont have to reach and then yours is manual and u just roll it up easily.
gonna need solenoid, wiring, swtiches, motor and calbe thingy or whatever.
probably easy to find a door since im sure s13 doors are easy to come by.

Hey,
The conversion is not that hard actually. On my friend's Integra, we converted over to factory power windows using donor parts from the wrecking yard. You will need:
1. power window motors
2. door panels (with switches)
3. window motor wiring up through the door grommet
I can wire it up for you if necessary.

I put power windows in my Sentra. They never made any 2dr B13s with power windows, so it was a little more complicated since I had to use the motors from a 4 door, and hack up the cable jacket on my doors...etc.
I think if you can just get a good deal for both doors, do so, it will save you a lot of work. I paid $125 for 2 motors, and master switch from 200sx (I dont have a switch for passanger side).
