Exclamation Car wont start....please help

Alright well let me begian, its a 93 s13 KA24de. When I turn the key it doesnt make any noise at all. I'd have to turn the key a couple of times before I actually got a response from the car, and now its not doing anything at all. And idk where else to look. I checked the battery and cleaned the terminals, thats good, starter, thats good, alternator, thats good. i replaced the plugs and plug wires as well and still nothing. I checked the starter grounds as well and everything seems to be ok. Could it be the coil? Btw I bypassed the clutch interlock switch, so i know its not that. what could it be??

If the Alt Fuse is not blown (its a big 75amp mama-jama) Pic # 2 in this link: F/S:MD S13 blk dash mint,S14 roof cover,75A fuse : Interior (for sale)...make sure you check that. Its located next to the battery. And youre positive that all else is good to go, it could be your ignition switch. The material they are made out of seems rather fragile. I've had my ignition switch crap out on me...got one from Advance, only to have that one die in a few months. Mines a '93 KA24DE as well. Good Luck.

Yeah I checked the fuse already. Its good. I was thinking about replacing the ignition switch along with the starter relay/interlock relay. And if its not those idk what it could be??

What do you keep doing to your cars that makes them not start lol. Coupe project is going well. Waiting on the rebuilt SR to put in it, and going s13 silvia front with triple projectors.

Ignition switch gets my vote.

Try this. Take a long wire and hook it to the battery positive. (BE CAREFUL WITH IT lol). Then take the wire and touch it to the terminal on the starter solenoid. If the starter kicks out and starts every time then the problem lies in the switch or the switch circuit...

OK, to which terminal? Positive or negative on the starter ? And what should the key be turned to?

Edit: problem solved!! it was a bad ignition switch. But its weird, I bought new plugs NGK bkr5es ( the same ones that were in the car already) and when i started the car is idled like complete shit. i put the olds ones back in and she idled beautifully. Idk if the ones I bought were faulty.

If you were trying to start the car on the new plugs right after you have been unsucessfully trying to start it before, the combustion chambers would have had a excess of fuel in them causing the crappy idle. This condition probably would have cleared itself with a trip around the block.

There is a chance that a plugs was crap. Maybe one of them. But all 4?? Try swapping one in at a time until you find the bad one and you may find that it was just that an excess fuel issue.

Just a thought based on the info give.

well, as soon as put the old ones it idled perfect...like it was a instant change. it turned on perfect no hesitation nothing. with the new ones it was back firing like crazy. And chamber #1 & 2 had barely any spark. As soon as the old ones went back in perfect, no back firing, rough idle, sputtering, nothing. So idk, It'd have to be crazy that ALL 4 pluges were bad. i'll try and put them back in later.
