Injector Guidance
So im not too familiar with injector lingo but I just need a bit of guidance and info that i couldn't find too easily.
Got a fuel rail with injectors for a relatively good deal so i assumed there would be issues.
First i compared the injectors. All say python up top and a number/letter under the JECS in the middle. Question number one, B-4-L-0 were the numbers or letters under the JECS...should they all be different or the same.. Question number two, I noticed B injector was missing the smaller o-ring, is this an issue, or are these easily acquired? Question number three is, the lower portion of injector 0 has brown plastic, while the other three match black, issue, or normal? All in question is pictured below. Thanks in advance.

Injector B

Injector 0

Sending off to be tested asap.

You didn't tell me they were re-drilled stock injectors. I wouldn't touch those with a ten foot pole. If you're smart you'd get rid of them.
So i shouldnt even get them flow tested? three look like the holes are perfect, the fourth has an offset hole from the rest...

Hey i had somewhat of the same issue. I had bought some injectors from the dreaded craigslist and wasn't sure if they were what he said they were so I went to Boost Lab and got them checked out and cleaned. Luckily they were legit. If you need info on Boost Lab here is the web address- www.the boostlab.com- Kirk is a great guy and I will definately do business with him again. It is better to be safer than sorry, so I spent a little money for reassurence.
yeah, if those are stock injectors by Deatchwerks do something else. Deatchwerks does good work do not get me wrong, but i would only use newer model stuff like the 350/370 guys use them and dont have issues. your injectors are 20 years old.. toss them. you could get a nice top mount rail and top feed precision injectors for a pretty good price and call it cheap insurance.
