I would bet it is a blown head gasket.
probably just minor.

what oil are you using? and do you have water or antifreeze in it?

not all oils will smoke, and others will smoke like a bitch.
and water won't smoke out the tail pipe, but antifreeze will smoke screen your house.

have oil and str8 water in it... it does smoke like a bitch tho... someone said it could be a stuck lifter??? the motor was rebuilt with all stock parts and has been sitting since it was redone and has a new head gasket on it...

Lol, stuck lifter. KA's have a wafer type adjustment for opening valves, its not like a Typical hydraulic lifter in say like a GM motor. Not much to "get stuck".

It prolly is valves, rings, or like dude said Headgasket but if it just got replaced that sounds weird. But you said it smokes so any of the above it could be.

Do a compression test on it and see what happens, that may tell you right away.

i would start simple, you need spark, and fuel, do you have em? if so do you have compression, make sure your dist. doesnt have oil in it, that can cause a miss as well.

3 basics, air fuel spark.
if you have spark and fuel, then its air.

check maf, clean it, check your intake pipe for leaks. how were the o rings on the injector you put in.

if its smoking badly then,
injector, dizzy cap, plug wire, engine harness, and ecu
should NOT be your problem

also, +1 for head gasket, look around the head see if theres any oil stains around head gasket area
