Default Aluminum Flywheels

Anyone in here had experience or read the results from using an aluminum flywheel in an SR 240? I'm tempted to get one if it will really help overall spool and free up the engine to rev faster.

I'm not a big fan of them. I prefer forged steel. Aluminum is too brittle.

Ryan,

For that price, you might as well go with the Jun light weight flywheel, or go a little more expensive and go with the ultra light.

But this is what happens

i have heard of explosions happening thats the first i ever seen though. is it due to hard launching and driving or poor quality or just not being torqued right or something?

im looking at fidanza too for my motor project. if u decide to do it right the first time so u dont spend hours on ur back doing it in the garage!

also i heard jun grinded with the starter before? what is that due to? i know trust flywheels are good quality as well.
