i just picked up a sr20 redtop s14, runs great but everytime i get on it, and the boost maxes out it dies, i was told its overboosting. so im tryin to learn. if you can help please call me 4239231612, any help would be help

Check the hose for cracks and holes. Your wastegate flapper might be stuck shut as well.

depends if your running stock bottom mount turbo.. if you are just get a hks adjustable wastegate im sure if you post wtb in the forsale area someone probably has one laying around.

been checking it out. turns out its not the gate, its the setting on the boost con. they are way off, but i dotn know whats the best setting on it, its a greddy profec b spec 2,

Turn the duty cycle down to 10% and put the gain to 0%
ok so i did turn it down to what you said. but no change. anytime i give it gas and the boost gets up there it kills the motor and i have to stop and restart...i dont get it. and i noticed that even tho i turned it down i still am getting like 15 psi i dont get it. if you can help or send me to a good shop let em know im sure i need it tuned as well.

so i took the spark plugs out, i started with the front of the motor. and starting with 2nd on e back it had abit of oil, then by the last one it had alot of oil in the cyl. so can someone shine some light, do i need a top rebuild....its a sr20det redtop
