I have a red top in an s13 (who doesn't) It is bored .030 over, metal hg, built bottom end, 9:1 comp, otherwise stock, fresh swap type deal, swap was bought, built, and then put into the car, I know it will need to be tuned, once it runs decent it will be. It runs like shit, it idles alright, misses a lil, any throttle makes it bog and then rev up, full throttle makes it bog til it dies. I started with the tps and get ~.09 v closed throttle and ~.12 WOT. The reason for this seems to be that the signal wire when unplugged reads ~2.5v instead of 5v. WHY? Im being fat and lazy and hoping someone tells why so i don't have to go outside and fuck with it . Hopefully god will post up

 

Check your fluxcopasitor...

well i get the same reading of roughly 2v-3v at the tps signal wire at the ecu as well as the tps. Im thinking bad ecu? ideas? nobody ever has the answer to my rare questions for some reason

 

Its probly because no one has ever had the same rare problems to solve first lol.
