S14 sr20 revs out but won't idle
Got a s14 with s14 sr20 with gt30 550s injectors z32 maf splitfire coil packs and apexi neo And Greddy type s bov the car will car will start but have to unplug maf sometimes to start but once car is started and u give it gas it's will rev but break up till about 3000 rshared_pm then it will rev smooth all the way out to like 6000 rshared_pm suggestion on wat the problem might be anything will help thank you

may have the wrong ECU? Also if you have a z32 maf it needs to be tuned. SRs will work up to 15 pounds without a tune but once you put that z32 in it it wont work without a tune.
But my car had the wrong ECU in it for a while. i had s14 SR ECU instead of the S13 ECU and it did the same thing so find someone with a s14 SR ECU and have em plug it in see if it fixes it. if you anywhere near melborne i can get you the number for someone who has a spare one.
Edit: If your unplugging the maf to start it ill put my money on it needing a tune.

^^ what he said... something sounds a little off though.. did you buy this car like that? if so ask the seller what ecu was ran with this car. just sounds weird someone would ONLY have a NEO with all of those mods..

It's a s24 sr ecu a WC and I put all the mods on it

U mean like get the ecu chipped for the z32 then no it's just a stock s14 sr ecu

Well I went over all the wiring and fixed any Vacum leaks and now the car starts with the mag pluged in but will idle at like 750 800 rshared_pm and if I give it gas it will slow sputter and rev and once it gets close to 3000 it revs smooth till it get close to 5000 it will start breaking up a backfiring and spits flames
