Default How Does This Happen???

went sliding last night, 1 min in the car starts to bog bad enough to have to be towed home. woke up today started it up, still not idling keeps cutting off, i took off connect to maf, and prob stopped, pluged it in and prob started again, i went to get new s14sr maf i thought was same as s13sr, maf was wrong connection, so i rigged 3 wires in harness, and was gunna connect after i started the car, what i didnt notice is the wires i rigged were touching the body. when i started it, it ran like shit, and i saw some smoke coming from wires. i shut it off, tried to start again, no fuel pump, cars not starting, brake lights and turn signals are on, and "engine cont" fuse in fuse box is blown.

I have no idea what to do, and any info would help.

just going out on a long limb here.
but how about fixing the wiring you just screwed up, using a correct maf, and replacing the blown fuse?

this isnt real life, is it?

I would bet it has something to do with you "rigging" in the wrong maf.

undo what you did

get the correct maf

replace that blown fuse

and see what happens

looks like you just learned a valuable lesson about doing things too hard for your skill set.
maybe take it to s&r, i hear they just got rid of one stupid wiring catastrophe and might have room for yours.

I'm going to put my money on you ghetto rigging your MAF wiring. Check your fuses, you either burnt one or fried a wire somewhere. You should begin by purchasing the correct MAF.
