Who cares about a fast street car? I have had my fair share of high HP street cars, honestly I think its retarded once you are past a certain point its a spin fest.

 

Do a lot of the fastest 240's even go to the track?

I'd be curious if this thread turns up some of the fast S30 cars.

My CA18 S13 with an S14 T28 ran a 101mph trap speed the one and only time I ever took it to the drag strip. Lol.

High HP cars are fun as hell to drive on the street. 335 Slicks of some vipers solve the spinning problem.

Why is a high hp car fun to drive on the street? I say 650hp is fun if it actually hooks. My twin turbo cobra just spun every gear on pump gas with 315 mickey thompsons.

My twin turbo Cobra put down

720 rwhp pump 17psi
1001.2 race gas 27psi

Here is a video because I know people are gonna doubt. This is me (pump gas) vs. Danny's cobra which is a 670hp car (on bottle w/ big shot)

Fast forward 6:21 as you can see all the car did was blow the tires off in every gear, even with suspension modifications.I even tried to ease into it the 3rd run and still spun right when I hit any kind of boost.
