Default Head Oiling Issue

Found a issue with my Valve cover gasket so i pulled it off to fix it, and while it was off i noticed something a little peculiar...

Both cam lobes on intake and exhaust on cylinder 3 show a small amount of heat wear, and were basically dry... no other lobes show anything and are fully oiled and clean.

While we were building the motor both oil squiters were very much cleaned out, and checked. the only thing different from the head previously is the metal tab in the exhaust side by cylinders 1 & 2 that you run into when installing the RAS.

now usually i would just think the oil squirters were clogged but the fact that both lobes for cylinder 3 are showing it makes me curious as to if something else is going on that i am unaware of.

any thoughts are appreciated thanks guys

Verify oil flow. Keep valvecover removed. Remove injector wire clips. Crank engine until oil pressure is built up and verify its coming out of the squirter rails.

It's still possible that one of the jets might have gotten clogged with tiny debris. You could always try another set of squirters and see if that changes anything.

so i did the crank it with the VC off and the squirters are deff not squirting as much as they should be. so ima clean up the holes and soak them in some cleaner before installing them back
this is what they are looking like cylinders 1+2

3+4 notice the lobes on #3... good thing is there are no ridges or noticable grooves yet. glad my VC gasket was messed up so i would pull the cover and catch this before i fucked shit up
