PDM Racing Lower Control Arms?
PDM Racing Lower Control Arms?
I recently had a failure in my passenger side tie rod, but when I was under the car replacing the tie rods I also noticed the ball joint on my lower control arm on the same side had ruptured. These control arms are only a year old from PDM Racing.com. The year before this I had replaced the lowers for the same reason.
So after two pairs of lower control arm ball joints rupturing within a year, I wonder if its PDM racing parts or if this time the failure was caused by the tie rod coming loose while driving and putting to much stress on that ball joint?
I need to replace them now, and PDM has a great deal, so is it worth it to buy from there again or should I just try to have the ball joints replaced and pressed with something higher quality?
Any info would be helpful.

I'm not sure if the actual ball joint is bad? I just see the rubber boot has burst and the grease came out and i'm guessing has contaminants in there now because the car has the loud clunk when braking and turning.
