Engine under panel

Do S13 240's have a plastic panel under the engine and to they really do anything?

Just a stupid question, saying most car's have em and they I hear they aid in cooling and aero

I have had 5 240s, none of them ever had one. But you can buy aluminum ones for pretty cheap.

Rx7s have them, and was always one of the first things I removed. Made it a real pan in the ass to work on, unless you have a car lift,
