S13 redtop SR swap problems HELP!!!
I tried doing a swap ( i bought the S13 swap video from drifting.com and followed everything step by step) and ran into a problem and it's killing me, i want to drive this car so bad and can't get her going. so here's whats going on:
when i try to start the car, the first 3 cylinders only fire every other time - every third time (when comparing to last cylinder), and when they do fire, it's very weak. last cylinder works perfect ( the one closet to the firewall)
no check engine light comes on
car has perfect fuel delivery, all injectors work properly, new walbro 255.
car does crank and runs on last cylinder but only for about 5-10 secs. spark plugs show fuel is burning. first 3 plugs look like crap after 15 mins of turning over.
timing is perfect, i must have checked this 10-15 times and even took off my valve cover to check that the dots are aligned correctly. the cam "keys" are at 10 and 12 o' clock so it did not jump timing.
any help would be great, i have been looking for a similar post and havn't seen one. Thank you in advance!

Igniter chip did not come with my swap, i had to get a used one off ebay. is there a way to test it? resistance check? what should i be reading? Harness was in good condition when i put the swap in but I what plug/ pins should i check? I am not very knowledgeable on the sr stuff so sorry if the questions sound retarded as this was my first nissan swap. thank you for your input much appreciated.

I converted the harness myself, I have done about a dozen or so honda swaps so I am kind of knowledgeable and somewhat comfortable doing it. I also bought the Drifting.com swap DVD to help me ( it made things a little easier since it goes step by step ) do you know what I should read ( resistance ) across the ignitor chip? I can't seem to find it in the 240sx bible.
The ONLY pin that looks messed up is in the bigger grey plug that is going to the fusebox ( the only one that has 3 yellow wires in the plug) but it reads correctly as it should. Also RB240Mike told me a few things to try with my coil packs, i will do it tomorrow and re-post my readings to get a better idea on what is going on.THANK YOU ALL for your help, I can't thank you enough.

Yeah, try switching coil packs around, see if the problem follows the coilpack.
Also check your spark plugs. I had one that was fouled so bad it wasn't firing. I thought it was my coilpack or ignitor, but it turned out to be the plugs.

Problem was found. It was 2 different things. #1 was a bad coil pack harness, #2 was #4 coil pack. THANK YOU ANTHONY R, JaxS13Racer, 4WheelDriftS13, INEEDZUSERNAME, NeedCAforS13 and a VERY BIG THANK YOU TO RB240Mike (you are the man). Car is Finally running and is a fucking beast. I can't thank you guys enough. good lookin' out.
