So the car is a single cam automatic. The problem is that when u gas it, it starts off really really slow. But after that it reaches speeds its fine. But what can be the problem its really scary when I'm crossing an intersection haha not knowing if I can cross in time.

Also please dont tell me its slow because of the single cam KA.

Grab a volt meter. I think they are under $15 at wally world.

If u find out its the converter, I have a tranny/conv/flywheel out of a s14 you can have for 25

 

Will it fit SOHC KA?

 

yeah, the trannys should just bolt right up. I think I remember something about needing the tranny controller, but don't quote me on that.

If it is the tranny, then the motor will rev up and the car won't move forward like it should. If the motor isn't revving up, then the problem is with your motor.
Could be TPS, could be fuel pump, could be a bad/dying coil, could be bad spark plugs, could be out of timing.
