Default Need help with wiring gauges

I need help with wiring for the following gauges.

1) AEM Wideband Air/Fuel Gauge 8.5 to 18:1AFR with Black Analog Face AEM Part# 30-5130B
2) AEM Oil Pressure Gauge 0-100PSI w/Black Analog Face AEM Part# 30-5133B
3) Oil Temperature Gauge 40-148C w/Black Analog Face AEM Part# 30-5140MB

Fuse Holder:
30-Amp Inline Blade-Type Fuse Holder - RadioShack.com

5A fuse:
5A Blade-Type Automotive Fuses (3-Pack) - RadioShack.com

According the AEM wiring diagram (http://www.aemelectronics.com/Images...%2030-5130.pdf), I need to wire the gauges to 12V constant with 5A fuse, switched 12V power with 5A fuse, and instrument lights.

Are those the 5A fuse and fuse holder that I need?

I have a S13 hatchback. I am new to wiring gauges. What is the best way to do this? I searched and some people said use radio or cigarette wiring. I am looking for details for the wiring locations for 12V constant, switched 12V power, and instrument lights.

Thanks.

???

Its all there in that diagram.

You can branch off the radio or cigarette wiring, but be advised you're increasing loads on those circuits. Do you have a radio?

Yes, I have a radio/CD player.

So, what is the best way to do this?

The best way is to run a cable to the positive terminal of the battery, fuse it at 10A. bring that cable to your gauge installation. split it to a relay. trigger the relay off your radio's ON/ACC wire. that relay connects to the ignition switch wire in your diagram. the other half of the split from the battery terminal goes to the wire thats connected to the battery in your diagram

12VDC/40A SPST Automotive Relay - RadioShack.com

Is is what you meant? Could you tell where is the best way to get instrument lights? I don't think steering column and cluster is easy to access? Maybe I should tab the wire near the ECU?

Yup! You dont need so many fuses though, lol! Just one off the battery.

I'd tap the wire in the radio harness for instrument lights, personally.

Fuses : PHYSICS OF CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS

Since I connect the 3 gauges with 12VDC hot in parallel, I need one fuse per branch circuit.

I'd do this, except something a little larger, with a distribution block inside, and then a small fuse block, relay triggered fed by the dist block, for future upgrades.

Or just one 15A fuse'd circuit

Basic Car Audio Electronics

Having one 15A fuse is not recommended. If the 15A fuse is blown, all 3 gauges would not have power, and you don't know which wire or gauge has problem (excessive current).

According to the website, he recommends to have 15A fuse before the 3 branches, and one 5A fuse for each gauge.
