i am not restarting the car because last time i had rod knock i didnt get a chance to shut the car off... i was driving then BAM softball size hole in both sides of the block/oilpan
here is the quick vid i got before i shut it off...

i had it running perfect...(finaly after weeks of working on it for 10hours + a day to find out the reason why everything i tryed and empire came over and double checked everthing and couldnt find out why it did what it did.)
my dad(non mechanic but a very good in lack of a better word atm because i cant think straight... "thinker") came over after i put the Brand new distrib in... tryed to start it and it shot the dizzy out. he was like well gears work this way and was going on about it for like 3-5 min then was like your gear is stripped out... we grabed a new one and now the dizzy dont have to be hammered in it slides right in and out like it should.
i put about 200 miles on it sofar and ran great and now this shlt...
if i can afford a new motor i am gonna blow this one up(brake stand it till it blows infront of my house)

that's what it sounds like to me...
only way to try and test it is to pull one spark plug wire off at a time. If the noise stops, then that is the cylinder the knock is coming from. If the noise stays, then it more than likely is not rod knock.
The down side to this is that you have to run the engine to test it. If it is rod knock, then it isn't that big of a deal considering the damage is done anyway. If it isn't, then whatever is banging around (like valves) is just getting torn up even more.
but, from that vid, it does sound like rod knock to me.
