Hey you guys-
I found a '92 5spd 240sx fastback for $3600 and from the pic the body LOOKS to be in decent condition.....I could possibly talk my mom into letting me get a car a bit early.....MUHUHAHAHA....and I was wondering where is a good place to get the SR20DET engine at a good price and do you guys know of anyone in this general area that can do good installs? I've been on the Unstable-hybrids.com website and have seen all they have to offer and was just wonderin if you guys knew of any better deals or anythin? I'm going to check on nipponmotors.com now because I think i saw some pretty cheap SR20DET's on there but I'm going to double check.....thanks for the help in advance! This is what it says on the website nippon-motors.com if someone could tell me what else I'd need for the swap that'd be great! This is all it says about this engine...you can go check it out for yourself if you want to!

 

you need the following to get the swap running:

Engine
Trans
ECU
uncut engine wiring harness
all sensors
stock turbo & O2 sensor housing
custom fab a pipe from the turbo to the throttle body

AND the following to really complete things
Downpipe
Intercooler
fuel pump
Intercooler Hot Pipe

 

have secret services do the swap

 

Can they do it? If so, how much if i brought them all the necessary engine and tranny parts needed for a swap?

 

Do you know the website and also do you know of a reputable bodyshop that would be able to do a S15 front end conversion on an S13 (S14? Which model would this 240 be?) Someone who has done one before would be a DEF. plus

 

I would like the front end to look like the one on the car on page 72-73 of March's edition of Super Street

 

WAY too much money for a 92 240 in my opinion.
