ok i just got my ka-t finished and for some reason i keep blowing distributors i had the original one in my car and it was fine then my car started breaking up real bad and not running on all cylinders then befor you know it it wont even start so i bought my friends used one. put it in ran great i figured mine was just old and once i started making power it went out. well now i have been running his dizzy since sunday(3 days) and today on my way home from work it started doing the same thing WTF please help.

Way to be a dick on a need help thread Sean. What the fuck is the point of even posting.

I don't know much about the S14 ka but don't they use the internal coil distributor? If so it sounds like you are burning up the coil inside. Did you wire anything up to the distributor?

 

nothing is wired to the dizzy it just started doing this all the sudden and it will just start mis firing and the just quit and not start

 

What is done to your car?

What mass air flow, Ecu and etc.

To OP: What sort of engine management are you using

 

it is a s13 rom tuned ecu by martin at zfever just got the tune on saturday and i have never had this sort of prob but i never actually beat on the car till it got tuned. it also has 370cc injecters with a z32 maf and aem tru boost

 

Take it back to Martin and have him check it out and that Truboost is junk; get an older Greddy EBC (knobs) just my opinion
