[s13] Front control arm bushings question

Default [s13] Front control arm bushings question

is it possible to change all front control arm bushings without disconnecting tie rods?
how long would changing all front bushings (both sides) take aprox?


also does anyone happen to know if these are polyeurathane?

Yes. Just unbolt the inner point, undo the sway bar end link, and pop off the ball joint. You can leave all the tie rod stuff alone.

All the Energy stuff is poly.

I would just take it off because when I did mine I had to burn the busings out then cut out the metal sleeve. Just save yourself the head ache and remove them replace the bushings then get the car aligned.

ok I might actually just replace the tie rods with new at the same time because at least one seemed to have play. is this worth it?

Tie rods shouldn't have ANY play. The play will increase very quickly until they become dangerous. If they pop out in a turn, you'll probably fly off the road.
