Quick nub ECU question

Question Quick nub ECU question

Iv convert my car from auto to 5-speed with the auto ECU

now if i was to buy a new stock ECU, would i stick with the stock auto one or can i throw in a stock manual ECU?

ok cool, so lets say i go with the manual one, it wouldnt work/ or reprogram?

or just stay away from manual ECUs

( my cars 5-speed with auto everything else lawlz)

it's fine but i dont think you have a rev limiter now just spend the 20 bux on here and pick up a 5-speed one just to be on the safe side

I think you could do whatever you want. I know that some people put in auto ECUs into 5 spd cars to remove the top speed limiter.

from what i heard if you have a 5-speed car and put an auto ecu in you have no rev limit and no top speed cut. but having a rev limit is always good

lol, why would it remove your rev limiter? that's dumb... if the auto tranny ever failed or you knocked it into neutral, you could potentially over-rev the motor... Nissan wouldn't do that on purpose.

The auto ECU does eliminate the speed limiter and it does raise your rev limiter to 7100. That's it.
