I'm gonna make sure the spark plugs are gapped right, because I didn't notice it before I replaced the plugs, then later I'm gonna spray some cleaner into the intake to try and clean the IACV thing.

plugs are not your problem for bouncing rpms.. do it if you want but not going to be the issue.

Everytime I've ever seen this, it's the ECU going into closed loop fueling. ECU is changing the fueling to find 14.7 AFR based on the O2 feedback. This usually happens when your car is running shitty already, though, as the RPMs falling corresponds to when it goes way lean or way rich.

Fuck. When I just moved it, it was idle-ing at just under 2k RPM. I don't have enough experience with this car (it's been sitting on jack stands for a couple months), but I think it just does that for a minute to warm up. Either way, I need to reduce the idle.

i just had that issue. then finally it just stopped working altogether.
