I would get a motor from martin. I trust him and he stands behind his motors very strongly.

he has about 30 swapped nissans in the tampa bay area that are all healthy

When you say the S13 engine you could be talking about the KA24E or KA24DE if you are talking about the U.S. version (What comes in the Nissan 240SX STOCK). If you want the J.D.M. (Japanese Domestic Market) motor you want the SR20DET. The SR20DET came in the JDM S13 (Silvia) and RPS13 (180SX). The 1991-1994 SR20DET is a red top (Meaning red valve cover). They run anywhere from $2200 - $3000 depending on what you get with them. The 1995-1998 SR20DET is a black top (Yes that means black valve cover) and usually costs a few hundred over the red top. The 1999-up is another black top SR20DET. It makes considerably more power stock than both of the others. This is the most expensive and hardest to obtain. It comes with a 6 speed transmission. If you want a turbo car buy a red top from Martin (180SX on this board) or buy an F-Max kit for your current KA24DE if it has low miles. Read up do a lot of research. Learn everything you can. There is an endless supply of knowledge on the web. I know this because I learn something new about turbo cars/engines every day.

4 cylinder cars only have 1 header.
And if you want a front mount intercooler you usually have a turbo and turbos dont use headers. They use exhaust manifolds.

I sell motors with f-ed up parts ? Thats a new one. The only bad motor that Ive ever gotten is being returned for a fresh one and I always stand behind everything I sell. Then again from the level of your vocabulary I dont think that for 1. you could even afford one of these motors and 2. You would be too stupid to put it in.

later
