i got my hands on a knockoff tial wastegate and i was wanting to know if i use tial parts will i have a tial wastegate???

You mean replace internals with tial internals?

If so, than yes it will be like a tial wg but not a real tial wg.

no.. the most important part of it is the actual diaphragm... which in the case of most knock offs are not replacable with tial ones. this is the part that fails most often.

Is this a serious question? You're buying knock-off shit, it'll never be a Tial product, even with Tial parts, that will most likely not be compatible.

Stay away from knockoff wastegates. If the diaphragm fails or melts in some cases, your looking at a high boost situation that your not tuned for. That could spell the end of your motor. That external gate is one of the most important parts of your turbo setup. Get the real thing or go home.
