Mine was T25 with the time I posted, like I said calculators say it would be a high 12, like epstein said, that required getting out of the hole, a 1.9x 60' time, launching around 4500 rpm, clutch slipping and feeding throttle to get out quick like that.

well the 'estimates' are one thing, ive heard mid to low 13s, but in the 12's i dunno (with t25). I've never taken it down the strip though. its not anything I care to do heh. if it can make 12s just makes my car faster than I expected, so I hope i can haha.

350z's and G35's are punching bags, you need to try and embarrass faster cars.

Estimates based off an existing 1/8th mile time are usually pretty accurate

back about 4 years ago when people with 240's actually went to the track, people with stock cams, stock t25, stock intake manifold were running low 12's. You need some kind of diff and a decent launch. Baby 225 DR's and Azenis were common. These stock SR w/bolt-ons car also consistently trapped 105-106mph, which if you follow drag, is pretty fast for a high 12. Oh yeah, stock rear suspension is a lot better at the strip than coils.

It's all about driving and setup. Vapor's car ran mid 13's with 400whp because it was on all-seasons, but it trapped 120+mph. One of RSE's old customers ran 10.8 with a simple 360whp 2871r setup, because the guy knew how to launch the piss out of a car on Radials.

Yeah tires certainly would have helped me, I was on some nexen ? 215/40/17's, I would have loved to see what the car could have done with the GTIR turbo I installed right after, im sure some injectors with a tune and that would have put down some damn good numbers, as I was running 14-15 psi for the 8.33@84.39 mph run, and right after swapping to the GTIR turbo with circuit sports outlet elbow ran 82 mph on 9 psi with the rest of everything being the same.

I've spanked several SR's in my HR Z (granted all S13 SR's). This is a pretty dumb thread .
