First off, please tell me you bled the brakes afterwards. And 2nd, there should be a 10mm bolt on the underside of your ebrake handle, near the base of it.

You don't really need to bleed the brakes after putting on new pads. It will help, but it's not a necessity. As long as your fluid is clean, the car will perform fine.

Ive NEVER bled my rear brakes after doing a pad exchange.

Btw, how is that even possible every S14 Ive driven the ebrakes are lock-central

i honestly dont know what the fuck happened but i did bleed the brakes. i had to take off the ebrake line on both sides bc my calipers seized up on me. either i put on the ebrake lines wrong on accident or maybe my calipers are shot. not sure i dont have much experience but ill check that out to make sure, then tighten it up with that 10mm bolt see how it turns out.
