BRM makes some pretty stock looking mufflers... you could make one yourself for cheaper probably though.

Im considering running that on mine now after I do my swap.

 

That is the same exhaust muffler I planned to run, with tips sort of like that. And I already have the 3" tubing, so why not.

 

I had one on my S13, and my brother has one on his S14. They're among the more quiet exhausts. The huge thin-wall tip is a little gaudy, even in black. Definitely quieter than an Ex-Mag. I though it was pretty quiet until my neighbors said they could hear me start my car inside their house. Maybe that was the 1100rpm idle and rackety SLAs, though. Neither of these cars have/had a cat. Neither of us have ever been hassled by the cops about noise, either. The Noir also runs pretty cheap (relatively), too.

I should also add that this exhaust is compatible with the Apexi ATS. Plug one of those in and be in silent mode!

 

Wonder why they didn't just call it the black version? Suppose it does sound "cooler" in French, but I can't imagine how most people around here pronounce noir?

 

Get the megan and have the tips cut at a slight slant.

I have the megan Turbo OE muffler which is the single 3.5" outlet on my car and its quiet and looks clean and pretty similar to a stock exhaust. I've never been bothered by anyone in the 2 years its been on the car.

 

I painted the canister black. You can get the muffler for like 80$ and either make the piping yourself or have some one do it. It only cost me likw 150$ and 2 hours to make my exhaust.

 

I might pick one of these up for my s13, The exmag is totally sleeper looking, not quiet by any means... but I LOVE the exhaust note with that thing.
