Default WTF gauge cluster problem

Ok i rubbed through some wiring one night out sliding but didnt break any wires and my tach, speedo, and gas gauge reads wayyyy past full. So i taped everything up and ziptied it out of the way and it still doesnt work.. any ideas of what is going on?

reads past full? I understand the gas gauge, but tach and speedo?
If everything wasnt working i'd say you grounded off the cluster, and blew out a ground on the cluster. Ive done it before at Desoto.

pull the cluster itself out and see if it looks burnt... from the few that i've dealt with, when that happens, the cluster itself is FUBARed....

sohc cluster won't work for a dohc engine/chassis.... well, it will, but the tachs will need to be swapped... everything else will work..

not exactly the ground circuit on the back of the cluster was burnt yes but along that circuit there is 2 screws so i took some 20 gauge wire and ran it to both screw to complete the ground circuit. BOOM SHAKALAKA everything works. thanks for the help guys and i hope this helps other people aswell
