Default sr20det high idle

i just replaced the iacv yesterday, before i replaced it the idle was all over the place sometimes it would be at 500ish rpms and and sometimes as high as 2200ish rpms. after replacement, it just stays around 1500 - 1800 rpms but not surging. i have the iacv screw almost all the way in, the throttle cable wheel screw is as far in as it will go and the throttle cable has slack so its not holding the TB open. i have checked for vacuum leaks and cant find anything. runs perfect other wise, any ideas? i have searched with no luck

try resetting the ECU... Take the Neg terminal off and press the brake for about 30-45 seconds.

Make sure the temp sensor is the right one, S13 and S14 are different.

If the knock sensor is bad it will throw a code.

Best to take it to have a consult done on it. If you are SURE its not a leak.
